The Vision of a Safer Campus When we think of a university, we think of degrees, careers, and the future. But at Project 1 Lakh, we believe that the foundation of a great future is a Safe Present. Recently, Chandigarh University became the epicenter of a safety revolution as we conducted our “Safety Intelligence” masterclass for its vibrant student community.
Bridging the Gap Between Education and Security Following the visionary guidance of Brig. Brar Sir and the support of Prachy Mam, I brought 53 years of martial arts wisdom to the CU campus. The goal was simple yet profound: Safety is being ignored because of a ‘lack of time’—and that is exactly where the danger lies.
We taught the students that they don’t need to spend years in a gym to stay safe. They need to master the first 3 seconds.
Highlights from the CU Masterclass:

Breaking the ‘Freeze’: We demonstrated live how to stop the brain from locking up during an awkward or dangerous situation.

Mind as a Weapon: Students learned that ‘Safety Sense’ is 90% mental awareness and 10% physical action.

The Digital Leap: Using the Exly Platform, we moved away from old-school paperwork. Hundreds of students joined our digital community instantly, gaining lifetime access to safety tips and their Official Certificates of Participation.
A Commitment to Every Department The response at CU was overwhelming. From the Health Department to the engineering blocks, the message is clear: students want to feel empowered. We are now preparing to take this seminar to every single department across the university to ensure CU remains the safest campus in India.
The Mission Continues Chandigarh University has set the gold standard. We are now inviting more institutions and corporate partners to join Project 1 Lakh.
